I had almost forgotten that the subject of Jews even existed as a subject. Yet some people go their whole lives obsessed with the subject and never get off of it. I used to be going that direction, though I was always nuanced and sophisticated, but some time ago I got off it. If you notice, while I have discussed the State of Israel and the ADL, I have not (until now) directly addressed Jewish issues and antisemitism.
The right is filled with people who are either extremely pro-Israel (in the case of Republican types), or extremely antisemitic (in the case of the far right). The left has more nuance. Most people on the left reject the hard antisemitism of the right but also reject certain ideological tendencies that individual Jews may promote. Such tendencies include Israel lobbying and in the case of true class based leftist, a tendency to promote identity politics is not considered good leftist thought but liberalism. What poses for the left is American politics is actually a center left that is pro-capitalist and promotes identity politics. While not as bad as Republicans on the issue, Democrats still tend to support Israel to a degree.
Now the 10/7 massacre in my opinion contributed to Harris’s loss of the 2024 election, because it put the Israeli issue under the microscope and there was division in the Democratic Party over Israel while Republicans stayed united. What it showed though is that among the old Boomer / Silent Generation Democratic elite, that the insiders are still pro-Israel even though the base is not and outsiders like Bernie Sanders are less pro-Israel. The point is that even though Democrats as a group are less pro-Israel than Republicans, the elected representatives often betray the base and take positions that are pretty pro-Israel. This is largely because there is big money in politics that is pro-Israel but also because of a general interventionist foreign policy among politicians.
Israel sucks up to the United States. A clear cause of antisemitism is that powerful lobbyists push America into a pro-Israel position and punish dissenters, but when you really get down to it, many of these lobbyists are not Jewish. And across the board, Jewish opinion runs a wide spectrum that is not represented by this elite. Thus when non-Jewish Americans tend to support Israel, it makes little sense to single out Jews because non-Jews (especially Christians) are doing the same thing.
The most shocking stance is to promote old school hardline antisemitism against all Jews based on a combination of religious/ethnic prejudices. While it may feel cool to be an edgelord, the most controversial stance on this issue does not happen to be the correct stance. True antisemitism, as an old school ethnic prejudice, is cringe. It is common knowledge that Josef Stalin felt that way. Yet Stalin was still willing to go against individual Jews when they opposed him. Lenin was similar, opposing the Bund, but forcefully speaking out against attempts to divert class struggle against the bourgeoise towards Jews. The correct approach, then, is to have ideological principles and be opposed to people who go against those principles. Principles include internationalism (diplomacy, but not globalism), class struggle, anti-cosmopolitanism and a simultaneous rejection of both racism towards non-Whites and reverse racism.
White Nationalists and Neo-Nazis tend to be the most obsessed with Jews out of various political tendencies. While not all White Nationalists go this route (Jared Taylor for example), many argue that Jews are in conspiracy with colored peoples’ to demographically replace the White race. This assumes that the growth of colored populations is done directly to harm Whites and that non-Whites cannot organize themselves and that Jews are behind it.
Kevin Macdonald argues that Jews are hyperethnocentric and promote their policies of supporting non-Whites because they see White Gentiles as an ethnic threat and therefore want the country more diverse. While this may be true of extremist Jews, I doubt it is true of average Jews. Most Jews are just trying to get along with people, White and non-White. The problem with stereotyping is that it is based on the behavior of the extremists, but extrapolates that onto the average Jew.
Now having written out against true antisemitism, it is worth noting that most Americans take a borderline retarded position on Jews and Israel, elevating them to a chosen people and defending Israel in a “clash of civilizations.” This is not the correct approach either and Republicans (the supposed right wing party) are clearly worse on the issue than Democrats (the so called, but not truly, left wing party). Americans hide behind the holocaust and use it to justify Israel. I once experienced a blow up on Facebook from Middle School friends because I criticized Jewish writers who were writing pro-Israel news articles and those “friends” used the holocaust as a justification for Israeli behaviors. This was truly pathetic to watch.
Consistent with an opposition to petty nationalism, extremists of the Jewish community like jtf.org should be opposed, while individual Jews should be judged based on their own merits and contributions. On the actual Jewish religion, I have commented on Telegram that if Judaism is just following the 10 commandments, there is little issue with it, but if it encourages petty nationalism that is when conflict arises.
/ Ogenoct described Jewish Bolsheviks as “honorary Aryans” who have bravely discarded their reactionary religion and liberators on his now defunct “National Futurism” website. I wrote before that Israel sucks up to the US. Well in this article, it is only pro-Israel under the condition that Israel pivots to Russia and promotes the National Bolsheviks. I will not get into who is Aryan and who is not (because that can be questioned for Slavic Gentiles too) but I get the point. Jewish Bolsheviks for the most part discarded Judaism, though in the case of Trotsky that is more questionable. I think it is reasonably accepted among most people (but not most White Nationalists) that someone can be born Jewish and then walk away from Judaism. The Khazar theory is a largely debunked theory that Ashkenazi Jews descend mainly from ancient Khazars. The truth is that Ashkenazi Jews are partial Jews, who are mixed with Europeans (mainly southern Europeans, but also Eastern Europeans). White Supremacists and liberals alike like to exaggerate the non-Whiteness of Middle Easterners. The truth is that in neolithic times, all Europeans descend from the Middle East. Everyone came from Africa eventually, but the birth of the Caucasian race was actually in North Africa. Ashkenazi Jews are only part Jewish. When you show the picture of a Middle Easterner, many people are surprised that as individuals Middle Easterners can appear quite “White.” This is because the original Caucasians come out of the Middle East and all others are derivatives of this original East Mediterranean population, simply losing skin pigmentation to adapt to the European (and particularly Northern European) climate.
Karl Marx had Jewish ancestry, however his ancestors had converted to Christianity. Because of this, many misguided people on the right support a “racial antisemitism” since otherwise someone like Marx could not be considered Jewish. But the hate towards Marx is misguided, because Marx did not design so-called “Cultural Marxism” but wrote about the Surplus Value of Labor. So it is actually correct to hail Marx as a liberator, not despise him for having Jewish ancestry. Marx himself was critical of Jews.
Overall, the extreme antisemitism of the far right and the extreme pro-Israel views of the two right wing parties in the US (Democrats and Republicans, but Republicans are worse) should be opposed. Jews should be judged individually based on the ideologies they promote, which varies widely from Jew to Jews. People can walk away from Judaism. Extremist antisemitism and philosemitism are misguided and seem to be the stances that right wingers oscillate between (which many Democrats are in fact truly right wingers posing as leftists). True leftists seem to have a more middle of the road position, which is largely absent on the right. True leftists differ from liberals in that they support class struggle over identity politics and it is true that many big Jewish organizations support identity politics (the ADL, the SPLC) but that does not mean the average Jewish person is at war with White Gentiles or that the average Jewish person can even be profiled down to a single political opinion at all. Jews are not a monolith. Many people of Jewish ancestry criticize other Jews (see Bobby Fischer, but also Karl Marx as written above) and there is no wide Jewish conspiracy.
